Getting started

From a list of vehicles to a driver reporting a dent

Three things stand between the two: import your fleet, print the stickers, put up one poster. No integration, no rollout, no people to free up for it.

The import shows what it will do first. The stickers come out of the same fleet.

Importing

Your fleet comes out of a spreadsheet

Under Import/Export you download the template — fleet number, type, plate, active, depot — fill it in and upload it. Curbed shows you what will happen first: how many rows are added, how many are updated and which are skipped, with a reason against each skipped row. Nothing is saved until you press apply.

Worth knowing

The template comes out of the same export you pull the data back out of later, so the columns cannot drift apart. And it is not a one-off: the same import updates vehicles you already have, so fifty new plates are one file.

In three steps

  1. Import the fleet
  2. Print the stickers
  3. Put up the poster

Stickers

You print the stickers yourself

Under QR codes there is an A4 sheet for your whole fleet, with cut lines to trim along. Filter by depot to print one location at a time, or search a single fleet number when one vehicle has been added.

Drivers

Drivers sign themselves up

Under Install card Curbed makes one A4 with a QR code on it. A driver scans it, creates their own account and applies to your firm; you see them under Applications and approve them, at the depot they will drive from. Sixty accounts made by hand and sixty passwords handed out is not the way in.

Worth knowing

Prefer it the other way round? Import your staff the way you imported the vehicles, and Curbed hands the first passwords back as a file.

We set new companies up by hand, so a demo starts with your vehicles and your depots rather than a sample account.
